企画書・概要 (Abstract of Project Proposal)

Care supply regime in Asia is composed of a combination of the following three. One is social insurance system which can be called socialization. In this case the role of the state is significant. The other is familialization and marketization such as preservation of traditional family care and preparation of domestic work market. Small governance fits to this. The other is care provision from community, NGO and social enterprises. New combination of the three care source would lead to reconceptualization of care in a dynamic ageing process. Japan looks at care mainly from Long-term Care Insurance though the role of family and voluntary sector are not negligible. The concept of care supply regime would be significant in a welfare developing countries to consider the role of the state, family, market and voluntary sector. Based on this, the project set up three pillars. One is to grasp entire care provision system to understand diversity of care regime. Second is to nurture culturally competent care human resources. This is necessary to cope with international collaboration. The third is reach-out program of care skills that Japanese experience can be of some help for other country.
