     With the rapidly developing economy in China, the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming wider and wider. At the same time, the gap of education and school facilities between urban area and rural area is also widening. The reform of education has been carried out for about 30 years, but the development of the education facilities and space in urban area has stagnated for a long time. On the other hand, in rural area, with the outside help of architects and NGO, and inspired by school reconstruction of Taiwan's post-earthquake, many creative school facilities have been built, which are rare in urban area. 
     Therefore, the object of this research is the schools architecture in rural area of China and the schools of Taiwan's post-earthquake reconstruction. The research will include: (1) the analyses of schools' planning; (2) the field survey about the school spaces and their use conditions; (3) the survey about the process, background, influence of the school design; (4) the proposal about the improvement of the creative education space. 
     The purpose of this research are: (1) to close the gap of education between urban area and rural area; (2) to provide the education chance and space with diversity and creativeness; (3) to build schools with their local culture, features and lives after disaster; (4) to obtain the knowledge about school reconstruction of post-earthquake.
     This research aims at providing the equal opportunity in developping countries' education and rebuilding schools in disaster recovery in the area or country like Japan in which disasters happen frequently.
