企画書・概要 (Abstract of Project Proposal)

Though almost aging had been supported end of life care at their home by family and community in Japan, they almost have had the death at hospital through the change frame of family and community. In the result, it is difficult for Japanese to have spiritually rich death. Because the medical procedure have not connected spiritually rich death. In Thailand, the end of life care is an age of transition between death at home and at medical institution. Because people especially urban area is being too much dependent medical procedure under economic growth and the low birth rate and longevity. This trend will extend over all Thailand.
We, Asian people, have learned care through Western medical and social welfare. But we review care connecting spiritually rich death from our Asian view of life and death based on Buddhism. In our program, Japan and Thailand various home care practitioners exchange knowledge and experience each other, which may help each other  placemaking of spiritually rich death at home.
The placemaking means that 1) respecting will what aging people love, 2) encouraging closer cooperation with people and medical procedure, and 3) making new relationship over traditional blood and community relationship.
We make short documentary movie as deliverable through this exchanging program. This documentary will indicate the good example for collaborating general public, NPO, care and medical institution and local government.
